Camp Bike

The scout looks.

Bigger than a minibike, smaller than a dirt bike, and sized so an adult actually fits. It rides on a hitch rack and gets you anywhere on an off-road camping trip.

The Scout is a camp bike. Not a pit bike — the category is different and so is the intent. It shares that size class, but it is built to be carried to camp on a hitch-mounted motorcycle rack and then ridden all day on trails, fire roads and sand once you get there.

Fat ATV tires front and rear give it float over soft ground and a stance no minibike has. The fork is a full-size dirt bike unit, spaced to clear the big front tire while keeping real off-road travel — so it soaks up terrain instead of skipping across it.

The pack slides in from the rear on rails and seats underneath the rider. The seat hinges sideways, the pack goes in from the back, the seat drops. It takes the full standard pack, the same one every other machine in the lineup takes. There is no smaller Scout-specific variant, because there is no smaller Scout-specific anything.

What makes it a Scout.

  • Rear-drive simplicity

    One motor, fixed-ratio 520 chain, no clutch and no gearbox. Fewer things to service, fewer things to break at camp.

  • Full-size fork

    A real dirt bike fork, respaced for the fat front tire. Travel you can use, not a token spring.

  • Rear-loading pack

    Seat hinges sideways, pack slides in on rails from behind, seat lowers. Swappable in the dark with gloves on.

  • Rack-ready

    Sized and weighted for a hitch-mounted motorcycle rack, so it travels behind the truck and not in the bed.
