The Lineup

The names follow military roles. The scout looks, recon confirms, the hunter takes, and the Shrike is the fast, direct assault machine.

The Platform

One motor. One pack. One controller.

Every machine on this page runs the same powertrain. Not a similar one, not a family of them — the same motor, the same battery, the same controller, bolted to the same universal sub-assembly.

Four machines. One sub-assembly. The motor plate and battery cradle are built as a single unit, identical across the lineup. A damaged cradle swaps out instead of scrapping the frame.

Motor

QS 10kW V3

Off-the-shelf mid-drive. 19:45 internal reduction, 140+ Nm after reduction, 20 kW peak. Each machine is tuned by sprocket and gearing, never by fitting a different motor.
Battery

72V, 5 kWh

One identical pack across every machine, built on standard 21700 cells from major manufacturers. Nothing exotic, nothing hard to source.
Sub-assembly

Universal

The motor mount and battery cradle are one unit, identical across the lineup. A damaged cradle swaps out instead of scrapping the frame.

The pack is the product

Packs drop into the cradle and lock in place. No tools, and nothing live is exposed when a pack is out.

Every pack carries its own status light for charge and lock state, so you read the pack rather than the machine.

The charger stays in the garage. Only the pack travels.

Range

Hot-Swap Battery Pack! Swap the battery. Keep riding.

Each machine uses a large, frame-mounted battery pack built with 21700 cells. When the charge runs low, slide the 65-pound pack out of its cradle, replace it with a charged one, and keep riding—without waiting for the machine to recharge. Carry spare packs and ride all day.

The Shrike carries one pack with room for a second. The Hunter carries two. Adding range means adding a pack, not buying a bigger machine.

Because every machine takes the identical pack, riders on the same platform can hand packs to each other on the trail. Your friend runs out, you have a spare in the truck, and it fits their machine. No competitor can offer that, because no competitor shares one pack across their whole line.

We publish two numbers instead of one. A trail number and a hard-riding number, because a single optimistic figure tells you nothing about the day you actually have.

Parts and Service

Ask any dealer what kills a brand. It's parts.

Every new electric machine on the market is built out of components you can only buy from the company that sold you the machine. When something breaks, you're not fixing it. You're waiting on it. Six weeks, if they still make the part.

We went the other way.

There are exactly three parts on an AION machine that you can't buy somewhere else: the frame, the plastics, and the battery pack. That's the whole list. Bearings, brakes, suspension, chain, sprockets, controller, all of it is standard hardware you can get from any parts counter in the country, today, for what it actually costs.

The pack, the motor, and the controller are modules. They come out with hand tools. That means the small-engine shop in your town can service one of these without buying a single new tool or sitting through factory training. If a module does fail, it comes back to us, gets refurbished, and goes back out as a service exchange unit. You're swapping a part, not buying a new one.

None of that is a feature we added. It's the reason the platform exists.
